Ordination of John Skowron to the Holy Diaconate - 08/10/2021

On Sunday, June 6, 2021, Subdeacon John Skowron was ordained to the Holy Diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Melchisedek, Archbishop of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. In addition to Archpriest Thomas Soroka, Priest Alexis Torrance (a priest of the Patriarchate of Constantinople) and Deacon Peter Ilchuk (of Holy Ghost Church in Ambridge PA) served the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, in addition to our Deacon Luke Loboda. A festive luncheon was held in Fr Deacon John's honor after the Divine Liturgy.
